catering cottage. Sleeps 6
Close to
the centre of Tomintoul in quiet position.
Under new
ownership and newly refurbished in July 2007.
The
traditional Scottish cottage has 2 double and 1 twin bedrooms (one double is
on the ground floor, as is the bathroom), spacious lounge with TV, DVD and
video player and fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, microwave,
fridge and automatic washing machine. Electric heating throughout and
woodburner in lounge. Cot and high chair are available A well-behaved dog
will be welcome by prior arrangement. Bed-linen and towels provided.

Weather

Tomintoul is located in the Cairngorms National Park,
sheltered from the prevailing westerly airstream and enjoys a unique,
mountain micro climate. Normal weather forecasts
are notoriously inaccurate in this area so it is useful to access a
forecast which takes into consideration the mountain environment.

Tomintoul, a little village
with a big heart, is the highest village in the Highlands. Set in the
beautiful Cairngorms National Park, it is the ideal holiday centre,
whether you just want to chill out and relax or get involved in
something more energetic.
