The ground floor bedroom and bathroom make this an ideal venue for anyone who has difficulties with stairs. (It is hoped that by  Summer 2008 there will be full adaptation for wheelchair access, so please ask about this).

The spacious lounge has a woodburner, colour T.V., DVD and video player as well as a small selection of board games and books. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped and has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and automatic washing machine.  Heating is electric and is charged at cost during low and mid-season, but included in the price at high season. The first basket of logs for the woodburner is included.

Outside there is a patio area, with table, chairs and barbecue

All linen and towels are included. A cot and high chair are available by prior arrangement 

A welcome tray is provided so that guests may have a cup of tea or coffee, biscuits or toast on arrival. (Please note that the local store closes at 5pm and the nearest supermarket is the Co-op in Grantown, almost 14 miles away)

We will put up Christmas decorations for the festive season unless guests request otherwise. At Christmas the Welcome Tray includes mince pies and Christmas cake. If you let us have your shopping list at least 2 weeks before you arrive we will be pleased to arrange for your groceries and Turkey to be delivered for your arrival (charged at cost)

Please let us know if you will have children with you (and their ages) so that we can make sure that Santa knows that they will be here.

At New Year, you will receive a complementary bottle of local malt whisky and a haggis to help you see in New Year in true local style.

Newly weds paying full price for the cottage will receive a bottle of Champagne, flowers and chocolates on arrival - also applies to those celebrating silver, golden and diamond wedding anniversaries. Please let us know at the time of booking (with some form of proof)
